Personal motto: The sooner you fall behind the more time you have to catch up.
"Imagine if you will...a thumb tack singing 'I'm a little tea pot'."

Originally from Kansas… yes, Kansas – it’s right in the middle of everything.
“This could be easier.”

Tanya
The one who is finally no longer injured
Swinging on the streets since 2006
A Double or Nothing Member since 2008
Tanya's history of dance: Involved in the holy trinity of early dance education (tap, jazz, ballet) from ages 12-17. Focused exclusively on ballet in last year of high school. And then there was The Long Night of No Dancing until 2006. I also do some ballroom and latin, as well as Balboa (since 2007).
Spends her time snuggling with her dog, gaming (both video and tabletop fantasy/scifi role-playing games), hiking, and reading voraciously. Has an affinity for juxtaposing vastly different genres of artistic endeavor - would love to choreograph swing/lindy to angry white boy music, for instance, or maybe St. Louis Shag to Five Iron Frenzy's "Blue Comb '78" (ska/punk). Has a Star Wars obsession (Episodes IV, V, and VI).
"You came suddenly like resurrection, like an infinite blessing, and my thoughts burned like trees on fire. You came today like God Himself, generous and full of grace, holding the key to my freedom in your hands."
- Rumi (Yeah, for me, that's a quotation about dancing.)

Can also be found at a blues club or faking West Coast Swing.
Has lived in Pennsylvania, Florida, and California. "If I move to Washington, I'll have all four corners of the US."
Doug likes walking, and he likes reading, but when he does them together, he does not like lightpoles, benches, or small children.
Favorite Author: Neal Stephenson, who somehow manages to blend social criticism into his fiction without being preachy. A skill I do not have.

Hails from: Los Angeles, CA
Fatal Flaw: Occasionally suffers from tourette's during rehearsals
Hero: Hector from the Iliad
Motto: Do to others as you would have them do to you
"The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep."
- Robert Frost
